SCOTT MACHENS graduated from New York University's film school where he was awarded Best Music Video Director at NYU's video festival. He has created numerous (award winning) film, video, music and multimedia works in the USA and Europe, collaborating with bands, artists, dancers and theatre companies. Recently he has produced several indie features. He has established a successful jewelry design company, marketing his works in high-end "leather boutiques" in NYC, London and Paris. Scott founded The Empire of the Damned and Father Panik Industries, a combination of performance art and retail entrepreneurship. The Empire established him as an artist and helped build an international following. Presently he has been screening REVELATION; a short film based on the biblical Revelation of Saint John the Divine. As well as shooting and directing, he processed and colored the film by hand. REVELATION has been a great success on the international film festival circuit. At this time a book of photography using his "hand made" film and framed around the Book of Revelation is near completion. His parents still hope that someday he'll get a real job.
